THROES OF PASSION – PERFECT LOVEMAKING

THROES OF PASSION
Perfect Love Making
Short Fiction  A Love Story
By
VIKRAM KARVE

From my Creative Writing Archives:

Flash Fiction – A Very Short Story I wrote many years ago for a flash fiction competition, and first posted on my blog in the year 2007.

Adult Fiction  A Passionate Love Story.

THROES OF PASSION – Love Story by Vikram Karve

She was tired, sleepy, and wanted him to stop.

But he continued going on and on and on.

He too was worn-out, overcome by fatigue – in fact, he was nearly on the verge of losing it.

But he was making excruciating effort to keep going on and on, as vigorously as possible, desperately waiting for her to climax.

The emotionless mechanical charade went on and on and on.

After some time, she felt so exhausted, that she could not bear it any longer.

She knew there was only one way to end her tedious agony without displeasing her beloved husband.

Faking it.

Yes, she just had to fake it – just fake an orgasm...!

She put her arms around him, gripping him tightly, burying her face into him, thrashing her body around him furiously, biting, moaning, panting, screaming, simulating, as if she were in the throes of passion.

He too responded with increasing vigour, till he peaked, and it seemed both were in the throes of passion, climaxing together – then suddenly he went limp, rolled over and collapsed, lifeless, unspent, next to her.

“You came?” she asked, unquenched, but relieved that it was all over.

“Yes,” he lied, unspent, but exultant that he had been able to “prove” his forte to her once again, and inwardly pleased that he had perfected the art of “faking it”.

Both, he and she, were inwardly happy by their passionate performance – their “perfect lovemaking”.

Reassured, they put their arms around each other.

And, together, they plummeted into the dark abyss of dreamless sleep.

THE CASANOVA AND HIS WIFE

THE CASANOVA AND HIS WIFE
Fantasy Fiction - A Love Story
By
VIKRAM KARVE

Here is a Story from my Creative Writing Archives.
I started writing short fiction more than 20 years ago.
Here is one of my earliest short stories – virginal writing from a novice.

Disclaimer:
Please read this apocryphal short story only if you have a sense of humour. This is a spoof, pure fiction, a fantasy, a figment of imagination. So first convince yourself that you have a sense of humour and only then read the yarn, take it with a pinch of salt, and have a laugh. And yes, this story is for adults only, so if you are a kid please skip this post and go onto something academic in nature …

THE CASANOVA AND HIS WIFE

Sundar described the vivid details of his spicy conquests and lascivious exploits in a language that would make a sailor blush.

I listened with awe and admiration as he regaled us with intimate accounts of the exciting nightlife and exhilarating carnal delights he had experienced in his travels all round the world.

A tall, strapping, flamboyant, handsome man endowed with an excellent physique, Sundar had been a Casanova even when we were in college, ten years ago.

Even then, he always entertained us with mind-blowing stories of his amorous adventures and we all listened to him in rapt attention and vicarious awe, lapping up each word with juicy envy.

We had not met since we left college.

He had gone abroad for higher studies and had recently returned to take up a top executive position in a prestigious firm.

He was hosting our annual alumni association dinner on the lawns of his palatial bungalow.

As usual, the gents were huddled around the bar enjoying their drinks, while the ladies sat together gossiping on the lawn.

I thought it was bad manners to neglect the ladies, so I excused myself and walked towards the lawn.

“Good evening. I am Mrs Sundar. Call me Menaka. That’s my name,” she proffered her hand.

Her touch was electric.

Menaka was stunningly attractive.

She had worn her sari in a manner that was so revealing that she might as well have worn nothing.

Her shapely breasts were boldly outlined under her low-cut flimsy blouse.

She had tucked her sari tightly and low, and this accentuating the curves of her well-proportioned derriere and enhancing the sex appeal of her smooth stomach adorned with a perfect navel.

Her body was exquisite – she was temptingly beautiful.

I cannot describe the sensation she evoked in me.

Not for a long time had the mere sight of a woman aroused the sleeping dog in me to such an extent.

I just could not get her out of my mind and after that evening, every time I made love to my wife, I fantasized about Menaka.

My wife seemed happily surprised at my increased libido and improved performance.

I did not meet the Sundar for quite some time, but common friends always talked of Sundar’s high-falutin boasts of his promiscuous lifestyle and conversations always pulsated with blurred but knowing rumours of the sex orgies going on in his house.

Almost two months later, one evening, I happened to pass by Sundar’s house.

On a sudden impulse, I decided to pay him a visit.

I rang the bell.

Menaka opened the door.

She was wearing a tight-fitting T-shirt tucked into a short skirt.

She looked temptingly sexy and desirable.

The frank admiration in my eyes won a smile.

She let her eyes hold mine.

“What a surprise? Please come in,” she said, leading me to the sofa, “My husband has gone to London. Make yourself comfortable.”

She offered me a drink.

As I sipped my whisky and soda, I noticed that she had been drinking too.

She put on some music, excused herself and went inside, probably to her bedroom.

When she returned, she looked so ravishing that I was convinced that she had titivated for me.

I sensed the beginnings of an experience that I had always felt would elude me.

I felt excited. But the improbability of the situation made me a bit incredulous and cautious.

She sat close to me and looked into my eyes in such a sensual way that I got the silent message.

The lion in me was aroused.

I could restrain myself no longer.

I pulled her in my arms and kissed her.

I was astonished at the intensity of her response.

Her crude eagerness surprised me.

It was as if she had not learned much in her years with her husband.

As I started to make love to her, she screamed in pain.

It was her first time – she was a virgin.

LOVE DREAM

LOVE DREAM
It Happened One Night
Short Fiction - A Passionate Love Story
By

VIKRAM KARVE

From my Creative Writing Archives:

One of my earliest pieces of short fiction.

A very short adult love story I wrote 20 years ago, in the 1990s.

This story is for adults only.

The terrifying nightmare grew.

It was just one revolving pattern of flames with inhuman sounds screaming at him from all sides.

When he tried to use his limbs, nothing happened.

He looked down at his legs and saw that the left one was hanging like a piece of bloody sack.

He felt the searing crash of metal into his body.

And then he heard himself screaming in frenzy as the blaze engulfed him and pulverized his entire body.

There was another voice now – a different voice.

He sat up violently in the pitch darkness, fighting the blanket.

As he recovered his wits, he realized that the door was partly open and he could see a pale figure in the light from the corridor.

“Are you okay?” she asked.

He did not say anything.

She entered the room, walked towards him and said, “I’m sorry, but you were screaming.”

Trying to steady his breathing, he said to her, “Bit of a bad dream, that’s all.”

She sat down on the bed and said, “I was shaken scared by your terrifying scream. It must have been a terrible dream.”

“Yes,” he said, and he ran his hand over his wet face.

She reached out and touched his shoulder. “Lie back now. Try to relax. I’ll go and let you sleep.”

He looked up at her and pleaded, “Don’t go. Please don’t go…”

He took her hand and pressed gently.

At first there was no answering pressure.

Then she pressed back.

She touched his hair with her other hand.

He could feel the want churning inside him like fire.

He moved his hand and touched her skin.

“No,” she said quietly. “We’d better stop now.”

He pulled her gently beside him, feeling the yearning like a physical pain.

She did not resist.

Then all at once she was helping him.

They made love.

They made love, first with tenderness, then gradually building up into a passionate frenzy as they both become rough and hard, demanding more of each other, till they lay exhausted, their limbs still entangled.

He lay in bed in self-commiseration, wondering why it had happened.

His train of thoughts spiralled into an abyss as he thought about his agonizing loneliness, his frightening, corrosive, desolate life, the terrifying nightmare, the frenzied act.

Was it an impulsive reckless act of love?

Or was it wild rage?

Or was it a desperate act of expiration?

Or was it a wet dream?

The whole thing suddenly seemed sordid.

He turned towards her and started to say, “I am sorry...”

She instantly put her hand on his mouth and said, “Please don’t say it. What happened, just happened.”

He closed his eyes and lay still.

When he opened his eyes, he saw her standing near the door.

“It was good of you to come,” he said.

“Yes,” she said.

She quietly stepped out of the room, closed the door, and walked out of his life forever.
