After reading this list of foodie places in Delhi – I remembered that I too had made a list of my favourite eating places in Mumbai – more than 10 years ago – in the year 2004 – during my Mumbai Days –and posted the list on my Blog.
I mentioned this on a comment on the above Facebook post about the Delhi foodie list.
A fellow foodie asked me to post my list of Mumbai Foodie Places on my Blog.
So – I delved deep into my Blogs – and pulled out this list of my favourite Mumbai Foodie places.
I compiled this list around 12 years ago – so the list is quite obsolete.

I love good food.
And I love walking around searching for good food ( food walks I call them).
Let me share with you, dear fellow foodie, some of my favourite eateries. Most of them are in South Mumbai, where I lived the six best years of my life from the years 2000 to 2006.
Read on. It’s my very own Vikram Karve’s Value For Money Good Food Guide. I have walked there and eaten there. It’s a totally random compilation as I write as I remember and I may have missed out some of my favourites but I’ll add them on as and when memory jogs me and also keep adding new places I discover during my food walks. Try some places and let me know whether you liked it.
Dear Fellow Foodie: If you live in Mumbai – why don’t you let us know if these places still exist and whether you liked the food out there...?
