Day 2

We visted Souq Waqif traditional market of Doha and we had dinner at the legendary Morrocan Cuisine Restaurant Tajeen

I enjoyed their signature dish - Lamb Tajeen(Tagine)with Prunes Apricots Almonds and Dry Fruit topped with Boiled Eggs - cooked and served in traditional earthenware pot with Breads.

The Tajeen was most delectable - succulent meat which released its fruity flavour as it melted on my tongue - and plenty of prunes, apricots, almonds and dry fruit enriching the scrumptious flavoursome gravy - one of the best lamb dishes I have ever tasted.

We enjoyed a "smoke" of Fruit Flavoured Shisha too.

Then we had Turkish Ice Cream (served with jugglery - see Video below) followed by the iconic dessert Kunafa at the famous Al Aker Sweets

A deliciously sweet ending to a delighful evening.

Apricots and Prunes add a distinctive flavour to the Tajeen

Tajeen is easily the tastiest "stew" I have ever eaten. A "Must Eat" when you visit Doha Qatar.

Day 3

Visted Mall of Qatar - a landmark shopping, entertainment and food destination in Doha.

After an evening of browsing and shopping - we had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory

I savoured a Shepherd's Pie after a long time - it was excellent - minced lamb meat - mashed potatoes - and vegetables - a fulfilling dish.

Also relished a Chicken Madeira - Sautéed Chicken Breast Topped with Fresh Asparagus and Melted Mozzarella Cheese - Covered with Fresh Mushroom Madeira Sauce and Served with Mashed Potatoes - the most popular chicken dish of The Cheesecake Factory - Very Tasty - Absolutely Lip-Smacking.

My Pure-Vegetarian "Better Half" had to make do with a Margerita Pizza

When one goes abroad and eats out - pure vegetarians have limited eating options - and - it is the same in Doha, Qatar - where the eating-out options are primarily non-vegetarian.

We had the highly recommended Chocolate Milk Shake - and - for Dessert - we had - what else should you have in a "Cheesecake Factory" - of course - Cheesecake - adorned with Strawberry and Cream.

A very yummy and satisfying meal indeed.
