I find this Indian Navy TV Recruitment Advertisement rather Patriarchal, Gender Biased and Sexist.
It talks of "My Brother Commands" "My Husband Commands" "My Son Commands" and adds that "My Brother/Husband/Son" is a Naval Officer.
Now - with Women Officers in the Navy - Why shouldn't the advertisement be on the lines "My Sister/Wife/Daughter is a Naval Officer" ?
Or is it that Indian Navy has a surplus of Women Officers and wants to attract Male Aspirants only to make good the shortage of Male Naval Officers?
