Qu...You two make a cute couple, and both smiling! <br /><br />Question: our old female Shetland was scared of water. As we walked down the hill to the salt water, the German Shepherd male puppy (about three feet tall) wanted to run and bring back sticks; then ran ahead into the salt water to his belly. I did not shout as I did not want to make him afraid of water per se; but there are occasional alligators in it; so I quickly got him out. How do you train a Shepherd to like water, but fear water with possible alligators in it?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
